MORE Health Announces Sino-US Research Collaboration Program Sponsorship

Global Resource for Advancing Cancer Education (GRACE) is a dedicated nonprofit that delivers timely, credible and free information from cancer experts to patients and caregivers to help manage their cancer journey. The 2019 GRACE Annual Faculty Reception Event was held on May 31, 2019 in Chicago, IL. This yearly event is a gathering of faculty health care providers, a distinguished group that has offered and continues to offer live-saving content for the GRACE website, to whom GRACE is extremely grateful.

MORE Health, a global healthcare company, was invited and offered a sponsorship to this year’s GRACE event. During the reception, MORE Health announced a sponsorship opportunity providing U.S. and Chinese physicians a chance to be a part of its Sino-US Research Collaboration Program. The program offers U.S. physicians a chance to pair up with Chinese physicians to collaborate, research and publish a completed manuscript in peer-reviewed journals, thus providing additional content and educational material on cancer-related topics. With each of these research collaborations, MORE Health is financially funding up to $200,000 for the sponsorship with a published completion date within 1-1.5 years.

MORE Health’s Sino-US Research Collaboration Program kicked off in 2018 and currently has several active projects such as colon cancer, liver cancer, breast cancer and radiation oncology to name a few. Physicians participating in active research projects include Dr. Alan Venook, Shorenstein Associate Director for Program Development, Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, Professor, Department of Medicine (Hematology/Oncology), UCSF; Dr. Jaffer Ajani, Professor, Department of Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center; and Dr. Ahmed Kaseb, Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Founder, Director, Hepatocellular Carcinoma Interdisciplinary Research Group (HIRG), Associate Professor, Department of Gastrointestinal (GI) Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

“We are delighted to offer this extraordinary Sino-US Collaboration Program to create a collaborative and educational opportunity to the selected physicians in both the U.S. and China to continue providing world class healthcare around the world.” said Dr. Robert Warren, MORE Health's Chief Medical Consultant and Professor of Surgery and Director of Surgical Oncology Lab at UCSF Medical Center.
